Tourisme Riel and Joie de Vivre Manitoba Launch New Websiteswww.tourismeriel.com and www.joiedevivremanitoba.com

Tourisme Riel promotes tourism in Winnipeg’s Riel district - St. Boniface, St. Vital and St. Norbert. Joie de Vivre Manitoba showcases tourist attractions in Manitoba’s 17 bilingual municipalities. Together they are launching dynamic new websites to ensure quality service for their visitors.

“We work hard to attract visitors from all over Canada and overseas and help them discover and enjoy all of the tourist attractions that French Manitoba has to offer. These new websites will help us do that even better. They offer a wide range of information and are updated regularly. It’s important that we share timely information with our visitors”, notes Camille Fisette-Mulaire, Joie de vivre coordinator.

Businesses and accommodation operators will be able to update information about their own venues and activities such as services offered, opening hours, vacation packages, etc.

“The use of Internet as a tool to research and book travel is continually increasing in popularity”, says Michelle Gervais, Director of Tourisme Riel.  “It is important to have a site that is not only visually appealing, but current and informative.  It also allows us to add videos, blogs and connect visitors to our Facebook pages.”

The new Tourisme Riel website includes information on the region, the Riel Ambassadors, school programs, merchandise, and a photo gallery. The Joie de vivre website allows you to download its travel guide and soon visitors will be able to download tourist applications for their phones.
