A neighbourhood like no other in Canada, Saint-Boniface and its French community invite you to celebrate the first days of summer. Saint-Boniface célèbre is 9 days of shows, activities, games and markets and fun for the whole family! Join us from June 21 to 29 in the parks and patios of Winnipeg’s French district.


June 21 - Friday

Grey Nuns’ 175th anniversary (St. Boniface Museum)

9 am to 9 pm, Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum

To celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Grey Nuns’ arrival, le Musée de Saint-Boniface Museum will be open to the public from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, June 21st. Admission fees will be waived for the entire day.

Come visit the renewed Grey Nuns exhibit, refreshed to mark this special occasion!

Grey Nuns’ 175th anniversary (St.Boniface Cathedral)

In honour of the 175th anniversary of the Grey Nuns' arrival in Manitoba, the community is invited to participate in a full day of celebrations on Friday, June 21st at the Saint-Boniface Cathedral and the Saint-Boniface Museum. Programming starts with mass at 10:30 am. followed by a picnic, entertainment, tours, Theater in the Cemetery, exhibits and a movie night.

Movies under the stars -  Le Grand Bain (Sink or Swim)

La Saint-Jean-Baptiste in Whittier Park

Join us at Whittier Park for La Saint-Jean-Baptiste, Canada’s annual French celebration! Several activities and shows for all ages will take place throughout the day.

For the last “Mardi Jazz” night of the year, the CCFM has invited special guests to share the stage! Marie-José Dandeneau (bass) will lead the band, with Jeremy Penner (violin), David Larocque (guitar) and Cody Iwashick (drums). Guests include Ariane Jean, Suzanne Kennelly and Pierre Freynet!

Join us June 29th from 11am till 10pm for live music, dance, beer gardens, food trucks, outdoor market, youth activities and so much more in Coronation Park for 2019 Saint-Boniface Célèbre. Come celebrate all things amazing about our community! Daytime activities run from 11am till 6pm with live concerts featuring Justin Lacroix and Jeremy and the Delicious Hounds.
