Festivals & events
Whether you are planning to visit Manitoba in the summer, winter, spring or fall, there’s a good chance you can take in at least one of the many festivals hosted by the province’s French-speaking communities!
While the Festival du Voyageur is probably the best known francophone festival, it is certainly not the only one. There’s also St. Laurent’s Manipogo Festival, marking the end of the ice-fishing season in March, the Frog Follies festival in St. Pierre-Jolys, with its famous frog-jumping championship, and the Hello Neighbour! / Salut Voisin! community event in Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes.
